People who travel the world to see art exclaim they’ve never seen sculptures quite like mine. That’s because I invented my process of draping and quickly hardening fabric over live posed models. Later, I paint the resulting structures to enhance their illusion of energy and motion. It’s fascinating to watch their reflective colors and dramatic forms seemingly animate as you walk around my sculptures, and as light changes in the room.

  • Most of the sculptures can be exhibited lying down on a floor pedestal or hung on a wall with a single picture hook.

  • Some sculptures are integrated onto painted stretched or wooden canvases.

  • Their appearance transforms with changes in natural or projected light.

  • Many of my sculptures are available for purchase or lease. I also welcome opportunities for commissions and custom projects. Contact me to learn more.

Care and Maintenance

My painted sculptures are surprisingly light, yet strong, and can be installed with a single picture hook. Each sculpture is primed with gesso, then painted with high-quality, lightfast acrylics. They are backed with a protective board and wired for hanging.

Depending upon the interior environment, you may wish to dust them every few years using a soft brush.

These sculptures are fascinating to observe throughout the day as natural light changes in a room. You may also wish to install variable lighting over and around your piece.
