For Misty was formed directly from the posed figure of Colorado Ballet dancer Emily Speed. As you can imagine, professional ballet dancers have exceptionally strong, beautiful, and beat-up feet! Real pointe (toe) shoe ribbons bring dance to life in For Misty . Its bronze appearance is highlighted with reflective metallic colors that flash as you view it from different angles. For Misty’s appearance also transforms with changes in natural or projected light.
