Nightscape was selected for Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine’s essay “Today's Masters: Go Figure”, and the tri-annual Art of the State 2019 exhibit. Inspired by a black & white Martha Graham dance photograph, Nightscape was formed directly from the posed figure of Colorado Ballet dancer Ariel Breitman. Its luxurious matte black finish gives it a quiet feeling of mystery and power.
Nightscape looks equally enchanting whether exhibited on a wall or laid on a pedestal. All of my resilient Figurative Fabric Sculptures are easy to hang with a single picture hook, and easy to maintain using a soft brush.
