At my Studio with Original fabric sculpture Arise and hand-painted reproductions plus jewelry

Professional 3d scanning

Advanced 3D technology holds many advantages over bronze and plaster castings:

Museum grade 3D technology used for my sculpture reproductions provides superior resilience and unmatched detail:

• Resilience – won’t tarnish, ding, scratch, chip or break

• Quality – this special resin holds an exceptional look, feel and weight

• Detail – The 3D scanned and produced sculpture you hold in your hand comes directly from the model’s body. It captures and procures the most minute detail of the figure, and the enveloping fabric folds. (Casting’s mold, plaster, and metal mediums cannot reach into and hold in the deepest and most intricate crevices and marks.) In a sense, these high-tech reproductions are a direct output from body to sculpture.

• I relish the immediate gratification of hand-painting compared to casting’s patina process.

COST COMPARISON

Museum quality 3D resin outputs are more expensive than casting metals or plaster. A 9” reproduction takes about 11 hours for the advanced photocentric “printing” and UV light-curing processes, plus hand-finishing time.

I offer traditional premium-plaster castings because they can be produced in my studio, allowing me to lower my costs and offer my works at a more widely accessible price.

Please do contact me if you want your sculpture reproduced in bronze/metal and/or at a special size.
